Upgrade to the sailing tour - awesome winery tour!

They gave me a free upgrade to the sailing+winery tour as this one was canceled. They were prompt and clear with the communication.

Assuming this ebike tour is to the same winery - Bouquet. Absolutely loved the tour and the guide (I think her name is Christina). She took us to see grapes vines of different ages. Then went into the winery to tell us how the brewing process is. She was very informative about why they were organic. No jargon, clear and funny. She's got a positive attitude to life, the landscape and the world, shown in her instructions.

She then showed us the wines that Bouquet has produced and later on we got to try 4 with appetizers.

Had a wonderful experience. It was a first time for me to try wine tasting and it was fantastic. Weather was great, our guide(marco) was even greater. :) Highly recommended if you seek for a relaxed time and fun stories.

Disclaimer: I was the only person to book this tour the day I went. The company was so accommodating about this and upgraded me for free for a sailboat experience on the Mediterranean to the same vineyard. Admittedly, I am still upset I didn't get to bike because I LOVE riding bikes. However, the company was very professional and I had a very enjoyable time. The upgrade was to the tour named "Sailing Adventure: Vineyards, Winery Tour and Wine Tasting from Barcelona". Visit the same vineyard; just the means of getting there and back is different.

The Allele Vineyard has a rustic and quaint feel to it (strong and sound buildings!). The tasting was so delicious and we were able to purchase some wine at the end. I bought two bottles of their unfiltered, natural wine because it blew my mind!

Marco (not the right spells for Miraco?!?) was fantastic and very helpful. When my group of 4 turned up at the meeting point and had a test of the bike, one of the group did not feel confident and did not want to do the bike but. So made a fantastic suggestion to allow us to join the wine tour and tasting but just go by train. 2 went by train and 2 by bike. The trainers arrived but could not find a taxi so we called the office and they arranged immediately. We arrived safely at the vineyard and enjoyed the tasting and the picnic. He did everything possible to help us join in. And always smiling. The cyclists also happy and felt very safe with him. The wine was very tasty!

Ebike tour to vineyard

Our guide (sorry can’t remember your name), was very friendly and chatty. We had such a lovely day out, we really enjoyed the ebike tour and vineyard wine tasting. The bikes were well maintained and all offered a helmet. They were easy to use. We had a nice ride a long the Barcelona coast and then up to a lovely small organic vineyard. Had an interesting and informative talk around the vines and then back for wine tasting and light lunch, which was very good. The vineyard wine was good and there was no pressure to buy any wine. We then cycled back to the train station and returned via train. I think we should of got pre-directions of which train station to get off at in advance. The train was packed on the way back and you have little time to lift the heavy bike onto the train. Consequently my husband and I missed the train, got the next train but misunderstood the directions of where to get off. The tour company kept in touch with us regularly to see where we were. It was a great trip and all was fine, we made our own way back to the bike pick up point. My one star deduction was for the train experience. I think instructions could of been given to us in advance for what to do if the party became separated- even written on WhatsApp would of been helpful. If your unfamiliar with the language and train stations, it is quite difficult to hear over the phone and easily misunderstood. But it was a lovely trip and I would thoroughly recommend anyone to do it when visiting Barcelona.

Beautiful Coastline Ride

The bike ride along the coast on the way to the winery is beautiful! We made a couple stops along the way and our guide, Marco, always made sure no one got lost. The winey was very cute and had lovely views. Lunch was also tasty! The train ride back was not as glamorous. The train was PACKED and we had to squeeze 10+ bikes onto it. There were also steps getting onto the train so we had to lift the bikes onto the train (and it's a little heavier than a standard bike). The random strangers on the train were so nice and helpful but it was a bit stressful in the moment. After the train ride we made a few more stops before the tour came to an end. Overall I would recommend adding this excursion to your trip!
