What To Expect

Palace of Catalan Music
8.15am - You will start your day at our main office, which is right next to the famous Palau de la Musica. You will meet your guide, have time to use the restrooms, and perhaps even grab a quick coffee before the tour begin. Your guide will explain all about the day ahead and what to expect as you wait for you tour to leave.

15 minutes • Admission Ticket Free

Eixample
8.30am - You will leave Barcelona though the Example district of town. As you head out of the city, your guide will give you a brief history of Barcelona, before letting you sit back and relax on the 60 minute drive to BlaneS.

• Admission Ticket Free

Cala de Sant Francesc
9.45am - In just over an hour, you will be transported from the hustle and bustle of the busy Mediterranean city of Barcelona, to one of the most breathtakingly beautiful stretches of coastline in the whole of Europe - the Costa Brava.
Cala de Sant Francesc, known only to locals, is one of the few remaining coves on the coast that have avoided the crowds of tourists and big commercial developments.
Our early morning departure from Barcelona means you’ll have the beach to yourself, and you’ll be able to enjoy a secluded swim in the crystal-clear waters, or wander alone the shoreline.
You have the option to stay on the beach for the next two hours, or leave the sand for another day and come with us to the famous botanical gardens. With a little bit of effort, you’ll even find time to do both.

30 minutes • Admission Ticket Free

Jardi Botanic Marimurtra
10.15am - The Marimurtra botanical gardens are home to a wide variety of exotic plants, but it is the amazing views from high up on the cliffs that makes this stop an absolute must.
The turquoise blue waters of the Mediterranean Sea stretch out endlessly into the distance, while far beneath you the waves crash in an explosion of white against the wild coastline. You’ll not want to leave the clifftops, but a typical Mediterranean lunch is waiting for you in a local restaurant.
You can choose to spend all morning here, or you can spend an hour wandering the gardens and then go back to the beach you first visited.

2 hours • Admission Ticket Included

Blanes
12.30pm - After we leave the botanical garden and beach we will stop first at the Castle of Sant Joan, with its magnificent views over Blanes.
From there we descend into the town for the highlight of the day, a feast of traditional local dishes and Sangria at a local family run restaurant.
All the dishes are lovingly handmade and they have built a deserved reputation as one of the best kept secrets in town.
After lunch, we will take a short drive to Tossa de Mar.

2 hours • Admission Ticket Free

Tossa de Mar
3.45pm - The final stop of the day is Tossa de Mar, home to the last remaining preserved fortified town on the Costa Brava Coast.
You will have time to walk up to the lighthouse along cobbled streets with the ever-present backdrop of the Costa Brava coastline completing your view.
From the lighthouse on top of the hill, you’ll wander back down through the old medieval town before dropping into a maze of narrow streets lined with traditional whitewashed houses and shops.
After a couple of hours exploring Tossa de Mar, we will head back to Barcelona, arriving at about 7pm.

2 hours • Admission Ticket Free

Plaza de Catalunya
7.00 - 7.15pm - We end the day in Plaça Catalunya. From here, you can easily take the metro or a taxi back to your hotel. Otherwise, your guide will be more than happy to make some recommendations of where to have dinner.

Beautiful beaches! AMAZING DAY!

The Costa Brava tour was excellent! We experienced unique and special beaches, walked through a beautiful botanical garden with amazing views of the Mediterranean, and enjoyed a fantastic lunch. What a blessing! I will remember this day in Spain forever!
Wholesome tour with all what you need

Had a great experience with Xavier on this tour. The tour is designed well, did not feel rushed and the logistics was very smooth. The places are definitely worth visiting, the beaches are very nice so be beach ready. If not into beaches there's an alternative at each location and a good one. The lunch as it says is traditional and very good. Have a light breakfast so you can go through the 4 courses (light salad, starter, main course and desert).
Costa Brava Day trip!

The Trip is well organized, everything was great. The Tour guide Carlos is very friendly. The first Part was in Botanical Garden with opportunity to swim. The Lunch Stop was in a Catalan Restaurant, the food is great , Pallae was well cooked and delicious. The last part is Loret Del Mar, here you can swim or Visit the Castle and get a nice View. I higly recommend the trip

Rod (Rodrigo) was as amazing as the views! His knowledge of the area, history and the food is on point. This is a fantastic excursion to see great views of castles and coastal cliffs. It mixes some sand time if need be, and some authentic cuisine. 5 stars

Sergio was wonderful in explaining the coast as we drove away from Barcelona. Our lunch was very tasty as was the wandering in Tessa de Mar. We brave Canadians took a dip in the sea at Costa de Brava. It was refreshing !!! Loved the whole day .
Wonderful day trip

Wonderful experience with a very enthusiastic and friendly guide! The trip was well planned, the lunch was delicious and the scenery beautiful.
Beautiful scenery but a bit of a tourist trap

The initial pick up and getting to van was terrific. There weren’t organized stops for rest room on this trip so one needs to speak up. The driving and destinations were beautiful however it wasn’t very cultural and my particular group not so interesting. Therefore the ride back with constant chatter after a long day wasn’t necessary.
The idea of this tour is great. Wish I were with a friend this time to buffer the other stuff.
The food at the restaurant was mediocre. And people didn’t seem happy working there. I would have preferred an organized meal at Tossa Del Mar however not a big deal. My pictures are amazing and if you have someone special to go with this is a very nice excursion to get away from the hustle of Barcelona.
The botanical garden was beautiful with amazing coastal views.
Small group trip to Costa Brava

Small trip to costa brava the tour guide was awesome. The beaches and views were amazing!!!! Bring towels if you plan to go in the sea. The dessert and appetizers were good. The food was ok - steak no bueno. That is only reason I gave 4 star
Wrong tour
Muneera_A, 17-08-2022
We were really excited for this trip, but due to a mistake at the tour office, we were placed on the wrong tour. Unfortunately it was too late once we realized, and our tour guide apologized and contacted the tour agency. We were refunded the price difference but were still disappointed. My advice would be to double check with your tour guide before your tour.
