Overview

Eixample is the beating heart of Barcelona and home to a dazzling number of architectural gems – including many of Gaudi's masterpieces (the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera are all to be found in the area).

Eixample is also, happily, home to some of the best food and drink establishments in Barcelona. Come join us us on a tour and taste the quality food for yourself!

In this 2 hour 45 min. lunch tour we’ll visit 2-3 carefully chosen establishments. You’ll have plenty to eat and drink but not so much that you can’t go on with your day (no siesta needed after it!). Our tour groups are small, meaning we can go to the kinds of restaurants and eateries the locals love... because they have the best food.

You will taste a wide variety of the highest quality Spanish and Catalan tapas dishes, accompanied by one of our friendly guides who can tell you all about the history and gastronomy of our gorgeous city!

This was the perfect tour for my wife and I on our first visit to Barcelona. Our guide (Lorea) was charming, knowledgeable and passionate about her city and Tapas. We were treated like family at every stop and the pairings and variety of wine and Tapas were fantastic! We'll be back!

A perfect Tapas Tour! Lorea is the perfect guide-she explains the food from the different regions, picks restaurants with not only wonderful food, but amazing architecture! We wandered around with her, and even though it was raining, she makes it feel like it's a warm, sunny day! I highly recommend this tour!

Our group of 7 had a fantastic afternoon of gastronomically delights with our expert guide Loreau! Visiting 3 specially chosen restaurants in Eixample, we sampled delicious food made with local seasonal ingredients. The wines were superb as were all the dishes that just seemed to keep arriving at our table. I highly recommend The Barcelona Taste if you are lucky enough to be in Barcelona!
